Richard D. White, a native of Beaufort, South Carolina, drew pictures of comic book heros as a child. In 1983, he traveled the world with the United States Navy developing artistic influences from eclectic sources. A self-taught multimedia artist, Richard plays the drums, guitar, and keyboards in addition to his current explorations on canvas.
