The Gallery at Metro will have a show in February dedicated to the season of love!
The theme is (The Lovers Tale).
This is a non fee Juried call.
We are looking for submissions that are no bigger then 30x40. The submission deadline is February 3, 2008 and notices of acceptance will be sent out on February 8, 2008.
Any medium is accepted.
All art will be exhibited at The Gallery of Metro. You may submit up to 3 submissions to the curator before the deadline.

THE WOMEN CENTER ART SHOW
A new exhibit of women's art entitled "Figure It Out (Dangerous Curves)" opens with an artists' reception from 6-8 pm on Thursday January 17, 2008 at the Women's Center of Jacksonville, 5644 Colcord Avenue. All are invited to attend.
Each artist has met the intriguing challenge to explore the human form through life drawings or strictly imagination. Local and regional professional and emerging women artists included in this event are; Jodi Brantley, Rhonda Bristol, Kimberly Brown, Joan Carver, Jennifer Citterio, Debra Dann, Paula Herman, JoAnn Hofmann, Kathryn Milkey, Argieline Mitra, Diane LaFond, Amy Lansburg, Lynette Matyi, Terese Muller, Jean Schubert, Billie W. Shelburn, Christa Sommer, Lara Summers. Patricia Traveria, Leslie Urban, Sharon Westbrook and Diane Rabideau-Wise. Media included are paintings, drawings, collage, photography, sculpture, jewelry and ceramics.Exhibiting art is in keeping with the Center's mission to nurture mind, body, and spirit. We hope to see you on Thursday.
